BACKGROUND
Foundation & facility overview

Purpose-Built for Export Scale, Driven by Quality Integrity.

HME Tailor BD was established in 2018 in the BSCIC Industrial Area of Fatullah, Narayanganj — Bangladesh's premier textile heartland. Founded with an uncompromising export orientation, our facility was engineered specifically to solve the quality volatility, communication delays, and compliance risks that international buyers routinely face.

Rather than relying on fragmented third-party job work, we unified the entire production chain under direct company stewardship. Knitting, dyeing, marker-making, assembly, automated screen printing, Tajima embroidery, and needle-scan inspection happen within our proprietary complex.

Today, our team of 340+ skilled operators, fabric technicians, and quality inspectors serves leading apparel importers across Europe, North America, and the Middle East, maintaining strict delivery schedules backed by a clean compliance record.

QUALITY LABORATORY
In-house physical & chemical testing

In-House Testing Laboratory — Scientific Quality Integrity.

We do not rely on assumption or third-party delays. Our on-site testing facility verifies fabric weight, colorfastness, abrasion resistance, and shrinkage before a single cut is made.

CMC 2:1 / CIE Lab Delta E < 0.8

Spectrophotometer (DataColor 650)

Benchtop dual-beam spectrophotometer matching spectral reflectance under D65 daylight, TL84 store lighting, and incandescent CWF light sources against buyer master standards.

Standard Batch Gate 100% Pre-Cut Audit
ISO 12945-2 / ASTM D4970 Grade 4–5 (5,000 revs)

Martindale Abrasion & Pilling Tester

Multi-head oscillating abrasion tester simulating extended garment wear to guarantee fabric surfaces resist pilling and fuzzing after domestic laundering.

Standard Batch Gate 100% Pre-Cut Audit
ISO 105-C06 / AATCC 61 Grade 4.0+ Fastness

Launder-Ometer Accelerated Washing

Rotary accelerated wash bath evaluating shade change and cross-staining across multi-fiber strips (cotton, nylon, polyester, acrylic, wool) at 40°C–60°C.

Standard Batch Gate 100% Pre-Cut Audit
AATCC 8 / ISO 105-X12 Dry ≥ 4.0 / Wet ≥ 3.5

Electronic Crockmeter (Rubbing Fastness)

Motorized rubbing finger testing color transfer on deep reactive pigment shades under standard downward pressure on bleached cotton test squares.

Standard Batch Gate 100% Pre-Cut Audit
ASTM D3776 / ISO 3801 ±3% Spec Weight

Pneumatic GSM Cutter & 0.001g Balance

Precision circular 100 cm² specimen cutter paired with a digital analytical balance for edge-to-edge fabric weight verification across every knitted roll.

Standard Batch Gate 100% Pre-Cut Audit
ISO 6330 / AATCC 135 Shrinkage ≤ 4% · Torque < 3%

Dimensional Stability & Spirality Wash

SUSTAINABILITY
Effluent treatment & energy stewardship

Responsible Manufacturing — Environmental Infrastructure.

Environmental responsibility is built directly into our mechanical infrastructure. From closed-circuit effluent treatment to thermal energy recapture, our operations minimize resource consumption while satisfying international environmental mandates.

COD < 150 mg/L

24/7 Biological ETP Plant

Dedicated biological treatment with continuous aeration basins and online telemetry surpassing Bangladesh DoE standards and adhering to ZDHC Level 2 discharge parameters.

Verified Compliance
18% Energy Savings

Boiler Flue Gas Heat Economizer

Closed-loop heat exchangers capture residual thermal exhaust from steam boilers to preheat boiler feed water, directly cutting carbon emissions and gas consumption.

Verified Compliance
100% Non-Toxic

OEKO-TEX & ZDHC Compliant Inputs

Strict procurement standard banning heavy metals, APEOs, phthalates, and forbidden arylamine dyes across all printing pastes, softeners, and reactive dyes.

Verified Compliance

STANDARDS
Three operating principles

Our Operating Standard — Three Pillars of Precision.

PRINCIPLE 01

Quality control at every checkpoint.

Inline QC checkpoints sit at cutting, at sewing, at finishing and at packing. AQL 1.5 is the standard we hold the line to, with 100% inspection at the final packing table. Measurement check happens after pressing, not before, because pressing changes the dimensions.

PRINCIPLE 02

Lead-time discipline.

Eight sewing lines running as a planned schedule rather than a reaction to order intake. The same discipline applies upstream: knitting and dyeing are scheduled to the cutting plan, not to the sales forecast.

PRINCIPLE 03

Compliance as a daily practice.

No child labour. Government labour law and BKMEA rules followed without exception. Free first aid and medical assistance for workers. Emergency staircases, fire service clearance, and a hygiene standard we are willing to be inspected on.

WELFARE
Worker safety & conditions

Worker Welfare & Fair Industrial Practice.

Worker welfare is not a certification document for us. It is the reason the same operators stay with us year after year, which is the reason the same buyer gets the same quality the second season.

WELFARE 01

Free medical assistance.

First aid and other necessary medical assistance is provided free of cost for workers.

WELFARE 02

No child labour.

No employment of minors in the factory. We do not support child labour.

WELFARE 03

Labour law followed.

Government labour law and BKMEA rules and regulations are strictly followed.

WELFARE 04

Safe drinking water.

Fresh and purified drinking water is provided for factory workers.

WELFARE 05

Facilities that respect people.

Enough fresh rooms and toilets are available in the factory.

WELFARE 06

Prepared for emergencies.

The factory building consists of two separate staircases in case of emergency.
